The Lake Powell Community Alliance was formed in 2005.
Our primary mission is to ensure that Lake Powell, a rare Coastal Dune Lake, maintains its status as an
Outstanding Florida Water.
Goals
We strive to forge alliances with homeowners, local businesses, conservation organizations, and commercial developers.
We work with Camp Helen State Park and other local parks to ensure the creation and preservation of quality nature-based recreational resources.
We collect water samples monthly in collaboration with Florida LAKEWATCH, St. Andrew Bay Watch, and the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance.
