A community initiative dedicated to preserving the water quality and biodiversity of the globally rare and imperiled Lake Powell ecosystem through education, habitat restoration, watershed based planning, and community partnerships.
Goals
We strive to forge alliances with homeowners, local businesses, conservation organizations, and commercial developers.
We work with Camp Helen State Park and other local parks to ensure the creation and preservation of quality nature-based recreational resources.
We collect water samples monthly in collaboration with Florida LAKEWATCH, St. Andrew Bay Watch, and the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance.
